A wonderful reader, Radiance Project asked me about affirmations which would help to close the gap between her wonderful "size 8 vibration" and the sudden realization that she's not there yet when she encounters and unexpected store window or mirror.  (see comments from my post Reflections of Love - Making peace with the mirror! http://allowingaperfectbody.com/2007/07/13/reflections-of-love--making-peace-with-the-mirror.aspx)

First I want to congratulate her on developing such a vibrant and powerful success vibration.  What an exciting life we have when we live in the vibration of what we want . . . before it arrives.  Because once we begin to live there, what we want must come, it's the Law Of Attraction in action.  

The only thing that holds us back in that place of power is when we do notice and concern ourselves with the gap between where we are and where we want to be.

Keeping our positive momentum turned forward toward our dreams is vital to achieving/allowing them to manifest, and affirmations are incredible reconnecting tools for those moments when we doubt or momentarily loose our positive momentum.  In fact using affirmations like stepping stones is how Abraham-Hicks (Abraham-Hicks.com) teaches us to move through the gap from observing what is . . . to a finding the feeling place of our own power within the situation. 

I do that by choosing a few affirmations based on what feels easiest from where I stand, then graduating from me noticing the gap, to feelings of my own power.  I prepare myself in advance for moments which I know will arise.  I even used to carry 3X5 cards with them, so I could grab when needed.  Now though, all i have to do is call on them and my inner spirit floods me with positive affirmations.

For example:

1. I see where I am, but I know my body is changing even as I notice what is!
2. Where I am is perfect for me today!
3. Everyday I feel more powerful and allow my thoughts to create my perfect body!
4. I have come so far in changing my thinking, my beliefs, my patterns . . . LOA says my body is next!
5. This has all been easier than I believed it could be, I am a powerful creator!
6. I'm creating my beautiful, perfect body NOW and I'm doing an amazing job!
7. I AM Beautiful, Perfect and Amazing!  Right NOW!

Affirmations are so much fun and there is no limit to what you can do or how far you can go with them.  I've created tons of affirmations I use for every aspect of my life adventure.  I sorted through them for the ones I felt were best to soften, traverse, and close the gap.  Then inspired by Radiance Project, I came up with some new ones too, which I love!  I hope they may prove helpful to others and I greatly appreciate Radiance Project for asking for them and for bringing up such an interesting and important topic!

Where I am right now is my creation too and it's perfect!
