Welcome to Allowing A Perfect Body!
"The very things that held you down are gonna carry you up and up and up!" Timothy Q. Mouse to Dumbo 1941
Hi, I'm Tigerlily,
I've been a student of the Law Of Attraction and the Art Of Allowing with Abraham-Hicks (Abraham-Hicks.com) for five years. I'm also blessed with an abundance of physical body weight . . . abundant, intentioned and glorious body weight.
And one of my passions, is learning to apply LOA to allow my body to naturally and easily attain it's most natural state of health, vitality and perfect body weight. To allow my perfect body size, and my personal perfect level of fitness to become my experience. And most importantly, to find the fun, excitement, love and joy in the adventure.
I've also noticed over the five years of studying LOA with Abraham-Hicks, that people can be amazing and magnificent creators in many areas of their lives, but they often tend to have a specific area or two where it feels like LOA just doesn't seem to work. Anyone who studies LOA knows that is absolutely not true, but nevertheless it often feels that way.
To physically focused spirits, anything to do with our physical bodies can feel as if somehow Spiritual laws just don't relate. And for many deliberate creators it feels like our bodies are the one area about which LOA simply doesn't apply. Allowing our bodies to naturally find the place of their own perfection, for those who consider themselves "overweight", or finding perfect health for those dealing with health "issues" simply feels too big for LOA.
It can feel like an impossible feat to not focus on the "reality" being presented by our physical body even though we know we have created it. We are reminded of it every time we look in the mirror, every time we take a pill, feel a twinge or become short of breath at the least exertion.
But in my heart, I know that LOA is absolute. It doesn't apply to some areas of my life and not to others, it's universal. Therefore the only possible thing keeping me from creating the perfect place of health and fitness are my own lackful thoughts about it. My own inability (or refusal) to allow it, to know I'm worthy of it and my own halfhearted passion for creating it.
For me, this blog is about becoming full hearted in that passion. It is the product of my inspiration to use my own life, my adventure, and my circumstances to offer women who study and consciously use LOA, the opportunity to travel with me, learn and share as I travel my "allowing a perfect body" journey.
My intention here is to write what I've already learned during my life, openly and authentically. Especially how that relates to what I've learned during the last 5 years with Abraham-Hicks and many other Spiritual teachers. I want to share my progress as I allow my perfect body to blossom.
I want to offer a caring, safe and comfortable place where questions, comments, suggestions and thoughts are allowed, appreciated and encouraged. I want to share what works for me and encourage you to take what works for you as you progress in your own adventure.
Growing up from a chubby infant into an ample adult left me with the belief that my weight was a monkey on my back, my albatross, my battle to fight, or resist. It started with my first breath out of the womb and I gloriously created it over years and years of self defeating thinking and a lifetime of societally trained negative beliefs.
Believe me, for those of you who battle anything from a few pounds to hundreds of extra pounds, I understand where you are, how you got there and what it will take spiritually to set you free.
I've done my personal research, I can now look at my life and see exactly how I got here. I take complete responsibility for how my thinking, my feelings about myself and my willingness to let others be the experts in my life got me to exactly where I am today. I can see my unconscious and amazingly powerful, creative focus at work. In fact I've seen evidence that the most powerful creators in the world are the ones living the most extreme lives.
I've also seen many times in my life that the very thing that we believe is holding us back or down . . . our biggest issue or challenge . . . is actually the master key to our deepest passion, our biggest joy. Yes, Timothy Q. Mouse was on to something with that cute little Dumbo.
Like him, I've learned that rising above and changing my life comes through looking at something that makes me feel powerless and being willing to look for ways within it to find my power. In finding a way to change the thinking that feels powerless, and take it from fear to love, powerlessness to strength, and hopelessness to fun and creativity. As a brilliant woman I know once said, "finding a way to take the shame and turn it into fame."
It's a path by which I've received gifts I never could have imagined or believed.
I want for those who believe in LOA, to find it a wonderful place to visit, learn, share and grow. What you won't find are tips of any sort regarding anything "diet" or "weight loss" oriented. If that is what you are looking for, just type "diet" or "weight loss" into any search engine, and you will be rewarded with millions of vastly differing ideas and opinions. All of them conflicting and most of them confusing.
In fact the word diet will only be used here if I honestly cannot figure out how to say what I'm thinking without using it. Diets don't work, unless we believe they do, but if we did, we wouldn't be here on this subject.
Quite honestly I'm not too fond of the word loss either, for those of us who know we create our lives, it's a misnomer. If we create . . . then we can't lose, because it's all energy. We can only release, or create anew. I have no desire to "lose" anything, even weight. I do want to release anything that no longer serves me, including weight, old ideas, and outdated, erroneous beliefs and advice. And I want to allow my body to do what it was intended naturally to do, to be fit, vibrant and beautiful.
My intention here is to discover creative and joyful ideas for recreating my life, myself and my body. To look at every aspect of my life differently, through new thinking, and from a holistic approach. Seeing it as a tapestry where all the different threads are connected and intrinsically important to the whole.
I am going to identify and change old beliefs, and thought patterns, to release resistance and ignite the flame of full hearted passion for my own life. To find the fun in this adventure and to use appreciation as a springboard to create a new outlook. To allow my perfect body to blossom and flourish, and while I am it, I expect to offer uplifting, fun and delightful ideas to you.
So welcome to Allowing A Perfect Body.
Welcome home.
Grab a warm cup of something delicious, snuggle in and stay a while.
I'm so glad you're here!

"Before you can become what you want to become, you've got to become in love with what you are. You've got to fall in love with your body! And when you fall in love with your body, it will please you." Abraham-Hicks 01/31/04 in West Los Angeles, CA

This is so wonderful! I'm looking forward to following along, Tigerlilly!
